Understanding Tokens, Compute Units & Balance Audits

A breakdown of how tokens work across video and image models, deduction rates, and balance checks.

DigitalXLR Token Economics

Tokens represent flexible compute credits that allow you to render videos and generate high-resolution images across all supported AI models.

Token Deduction Rates by Engine

Deductions are calculated based on the computational complexity and duration of your request:

Model / Engine Type Duration / Output Token Deduction
Nano Banana 2 Image Generation 1K Resolution 0.25 Tokens
GPT Image 2 Image Synthesis & Edit 1K Resolution 1.25 Tokens
Seedance 2.0 Video Synthesis 5 Seconds (5s) 2.63 Tokens
Seedance 2.0 Video Synthesis 10 Seconds (10s) 5.25 Tokens
Seedance 2.5 Video Synthesis 5 Seconds (5s) 4.88 Tokens
Seedance 2.5 Video Synthesis 10 Seconds (10s) 9.75 Tokens

Checking Your Token Balance

Your current token balance is displayed in the top navigation bar header on all pages, as well as inside your Profile Settings (/profile). Token balances support up to two decimal places for precise tracking.

Automatic Token Refund Policy

If a generation task fails on the GPU cluster or is cancelled before rendering begins, any deducted tokens are automatically refunded to your account balance in real time.
