Building Your Character Library

Character consistency is essential for serialized storytelling, mini-dramas, and brand videos. DigitalXLR features a dedicated Character Library (accessible at /characters) allowing you to save and manage recurring cast members.

Creating a New Character Profile

1. Navigate to /characters from the left navigation sidebar.
2. Click Create Character.
3. Enter a distinct character name (e.g., Detective Marcus, Elena Vance).
4. Upload a high-quality reference photo or portrait (PNG, JPEG, or WebP up to 10MB).
5. Click Save Character. DigitalXLR will automatically process the avatar and generate a 3-view character turnaround sheet.

Attaching Saved Characters to Prompts

Inside the Studio or Agent composer, click the Plus (+) button on the action bar to open the Character Library Picker. Select any saved character to automatically attach their turnaround reference sheet to your generation prompt.
