Image Aspect Ratio Selection
Both Nano Banana 2 and GPT Image 2 support three standard aspect ratios in native 1K resolution:
- 16:9 (Widescreen): Ideal for video reference frames, desktop wallpapers, and horizontal web banners (1536x1024 or 1280x720 equivalent).
- 9:16 (Vertical): Optimized for mobile screen wallpapers, Instagram Stories, TikTok background assets, and vertical storyboarding (1024x1536).
- 1:1 (Square): Perfect for character avatar portraits, album covers, and social media feed posts (1024x1024).
Attaching Generated Images to Video Prompts
Any completed image generated in Studio Mode can be immediately attached as a reference image for video generation by clicking the Paperclip icon on the media card.
